Whitney and Marilyn...a prospective

One was Black, one was White, they were talented, they made bad choices, they gave control of their lives to scoundrels, they died too young .

Neither was "the greatest of all time" at what they did, neither was even the 10th greatest of all time at what they did, but as always, death elevates any celebrity's greatness .

Neither death "proves anything", neither death is a commentary on anything but two people's death

It's really no more simple or more complicated than that .

Those who try to make it more complicated than that, are fools .

In Whitney's case, it is no surprise that the trailer parks and lowlife white trash shacks and other havens of racism as abuzz with psychotic commentary. Interesting that in death, as well as life, Whitney's estate could buy and sell their pathetic asses with the change they will find on her closet floor, and the rims on her car could make payments on their trailer lot or rent on their lowbrow apartments for two years.

Did the black community take glee at the death of Marilyn ? I am betting not
